Profile: Ron Donatelli
Hello, and welcome to our RCIA site. I'm Ronald Donatelli and I'm the Coordinator of RCIA at Saint John the Baptist Parish. I was raised as a Catholic but fell away from the faith during my teenage years. When I had a re-awakening of my faith in Jesus Christ many years later I explored several church communities without considering the Catholic Church for various reasons. By God's grace, I became acquainted with individuals who chose to become Catholic, often times at great personal sacrifice. Their reasons for becoming Catholic was an inspiration and a great enlightenment as they indicated to me that I didn't know as much about the Catholic Church as I presumed. After a period of time I came back home to the Church. The reasons I returned are many but there are two foundational reasons. Jesus Christ founded the Catholic Church and the Eucharist, which is the greatest of all gifts, is truly His Body and Blood.
