Lectors
Lectors proclaim the Word of God and lead the assembly in prayer at liturgical celebrations. Training is provided for new ministers. Ministers also participate in ongoing formation. This ministry involves reading approximately once every three to four weeks on a rotating schedule at weekend Masses. Lectors are also needed for weekday Liturgies.
All Lectors must have their clearances and attend the Protecting God's Children Program.
