Cub Scouts
St. John the Baptist Church has sponsored Cub Scout Pack 899 for over 50 years. During those 50 years hundreds of boys and their families have learned to “Be Prepared” and “Do Their Best” while having fun and advancing through the Cub Scout Programs.

Cub Scout Pack 899 is for boys from 1st grade through 5th grade from both Plum public elementary schools and St. John the Baptist Catholic School.
Cub Scout Pack 899 is centered on the 12 core values that are woven throughout all aspects of the Cub Scout program: citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility.
Cub Scout Pack 899 is a valuable resource that can help families accomplish worthy goals while building and strengthening relationships within the family.
Cub Scout Pack 899 is FUN with many indoor and outdoor activities for boys and their families to participate. Past activities have included: Presenting the Colors on the field during Scout Day at PNC Park, attending a Harlem Globetrotters Game, attending the Monster Jam Truck Show and the always popular summer and winter camping.
