Baptism Catechists

Father, as we present our children to be reborn in the waters of baptism, bless our preparations. Be with us here in the power of your Spirit. Pour out that Spirit once more upon us.
May we grow in our own baptismal promises and in our faith in Christ and his Church and so be conscientious and faithful teachers of our children. We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord.”
Since infants cannot make a personal profession of the Christian Faith or pledge themselves to living a Christian life, it is necessary that:
·        the parents consent to the Baptism;
·        there be the founded hope that the child will be raised in the Catholic Faith
·        the parents and godparents make their own profession of faith along with the Church at the time of the celebration of the sacrament.
Parents are to be properly instructed in the meaning of this sacrament and the obligations which are attached to it.
Classes…Are held the Second Sunday of each Month in the Rectory Living Room/Meeting Room10:15 AM to 11:30 PM Registrations are a must. Contact Mrs. Tarr.Special Note:  Actual Baptism dates cannot be set with the rectory until the completion of the Class.      “In one Spirit, all of us are Baptized into the one Body of Christ.”
