Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which people who are not baptized or are baptized in another Christian tradition come into the full communion of the Catholic Church.  RCIA is a journey of faith and a call to initial and continued conversion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The responsibility for welcoming those who desire to live the fullness of the Christian Faith in the Catholic Church belongs to our entire parish community.  A parishioner may participate in Christian initiation in several ways.  One may serve as a catechist, godparent, sponsor, hospitality or prayer support.  The Christian initiation process has a duration period of eight months to one year.

Any parishioner who loves God and God's Church and desires to share one's faith or wishes to learn more about the faith and grow in one's faith will come to find the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults to be a lasting blessing in your life.
