Parish Social Ministry Parish Social Ministry provides a link between the needy and those who want to help them in Christian charity and justice. Many services are provided through a parish's social ministry programs: people with financial needs and family problems can receive tangible help and referrals are made to Catholic Charity-sponsored agencies for counseling services. Parish Social Ministry is a HUB from which flows the various works of charity and justice i.e. visits to the Homebound, Nursing Home and Hospital Visitation, Bereavement Ministry, Blood Drives, Welcoming Committee, etc. Parish Social Ministry is a call to all the members of the parish to be a community that cares for its members and reaches out in service.
